Our History
In 1983, Durham native Stuart Henderson decided to travel north and open one of his original hot dog stands in Roxboro, NC. Five years later, Mr. Henderson built a beautiful restaurant with plenty of seating, a stained glass wall depicting a rural Person County scene, and a menu that boasted of homemade biscuits, burgers, sandwiches, BBQ and of course, hot dogs. Fast forward 39 years, and Stuart's Family Grille is one of Roxboro's signature family-owned restaurants. Our team is proud to continue Stuart's legacy of serving quality food to all our Person County neighbors!
